FLY Montreal, FLY Quest and FLY Toronto offer overnight accommodation in school residences. FLY Tremblant, however, includes accommodation in a 4 star hotel. We recommend that students share rooms (double or triple occupancy) so they can get to know other program participants and can practice their second language skills in a natural context. For this reason, we try as best as we can to partner students who speak different first languages as roommates.

On the day of arrival FLY representatives will be waiting for the students at the airport or train station. Depending on the program, the representatives will be wearing t-shirts with either FLY Experience or CISS written on them. Therefore, they will be easily identified by students. Parents are welcome to visit our different sites as well. In this case, we ask them to come directly to the campus (see addresses in the section called Canada Post) between 13:00-17:00 on the arrival day. It is also possible to come and get the students at one of the schools between 10-13:00 on the day of departure. A reminder that it is important that the student keep handy the address and contact information for the program that he/she is participating in.

In order for students to adapt more easily to their new environment, we recommend that calls home be made only once they are settled into their new routine. This is about 5 days after their arrival. However, all students have access to email and are encouraged to email in order to stay in touch with friends and family back home. We also ask that parents of participants not call during the program unless in the case of an emergency.
With this in mind, FLY Experience makes the following available to all students:
1. Public telephones which are easily accessible to participants. Calling cards can be bought if needed.
2. A student lounge with computers that have free internet.
3. In most of the programs, there is a wireless internet connection in the hotel rooms or in the residence rooms.
4. Computers in the staff room in which skype is installed.
5. Students may use cell phones in their free time or in the evening. However, using these is forbidden during class time, workshops, and excursions and during all other planned activities.

Throughout the years FLY Experience has welcomed students from all over the world including: Germany, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Columbia, Korea, Dubai, the United States, Mexico, Dominican Republic, the Czech Republic, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Taiwan!
Before the student leaves, he/she will receive a certificate that indicates that they have received language training in either English, French or Spanish. This certificate is recognized by various educational establishments. Depending on the program, the student will receive 15-20 hours of formal language training per week. A detailed outline of the language objectives of the program can be provided if needed.
A fun evening activity that the students in FLY Montreal and Tremblant will participate in. The students will enjoy dancing on a cruise boat as they float down the St. Lawrence River. A similar activity is also available with FLY Toronto. (www.croisieresaml.com/en/index.php)
To reserve a place in one of the programs, customers have to pay $875 CAD of the total registration fee. This amount must be received by FLY Experience before June 1st each year. Many excursions are planned throughout the schedule of FLY Experience and the cost of these activities is included in the price. Each program has at least a day and a half of sightseeing or outing per week. Some planned destinations include: A guided tour of the city of Montréal, Beach time, Spas, CN Tower, Niagara Falls, Alice Lake, Garibaldi Park, Ottawa, etc.
All FLY Experience staff members have first aid training. Also, it is essential for parents to fill out their child's medical information sheet so that we are aware of any medical concerns.
Family members are welcome to visit our program. We will help you find accommodation and can suggest some interesting activities to participate in while you are visiting. The student with visiting family may receive permission to leave the campus if staff is informed of this in writing. Due to the fact that the safety of the participants is important to us, we require proper identification of family members should this situation occur.

Once a week, the students improve their language skills while participating in a pedagogical workshop. These workshops are related to the activities and themes learned in language class and give the student the chance to further practice their chosen language. A detailed list of these pedagogical workshops can be provided if needed. A good example of such a workshop is the scavenger hunt that takes place in Jean Talon Market. The students must speak to the merchants of the market in French or English (depending on the language being studied) to find out more about the products sold at this famous Montreal market.

Students are always carefully supervised by the FLY Experience team. Both counselors and teachers keep track of the whereabouts of all students at all times. FLY Experience staff sleep on the same floors as the participants either in residence or at the hotel. During any moment of their stay, students are able to communicate with a staff member.

Taxes on goods and services (13.25%) are paid by the students during their stay. However, they may be reimbursed at the airport before they leave Canada providing they keep their receipts.
Wonderful tennis courts are available near most of the campuses. FLY Montreal offers students the chance to register for private tennis lessons if they are interested in improving their game. Rackets and balls are available if needed.
All plane, train or bus tickets are not included in the price. However, FLY Experience staff can help you find affordable tickets if needed.
